>>11124475That is a good design and I love how the Hildebrand logo is prominent. I wouldn't mind seeing something like that come around again. I'm not even a cardback fag but sometimes it feels like the current style can be limiting in some ways because they don't want to cover up the film out on the side or pack the bubble with accessories. Plus bold packaging could catch the eye of new collectors.
>>11124501>But I think TVC cardbacks must be a fairly significant factor in sales which is probably one of the reasons they're reluctant to change them now.It definitely is. As much teasing as I like to give the carded guys, they are definitely about half the sales of this line at this point and Hasbro basically must cater to them.
>Was the Droids Boba Fett, C-3PO, and R2 was the only time they did different packaging in recent times? Those and the Ewoks cartoon figures. I wish we could have gotten some figures on Episode I cardbacks for the anniversary. I think I would have grabbed some extras just to keep on card for that nostalgia.
