>>9985378The people who care about the original GI Joe are practically extinct. No one cares about OG GI Joe anymore, or at least in any numbers are are worth ever pandering to.
No one is even asking for that shit, unless there's some USENET group that still exists that i can't access because my computers don't supports dialup.
>>9985387>the people bitching about Classified are the ones getting mad at it for "muh scifi guns" and "muh fortnite". People that actually buy the figures love themDid you just say that /toy/ doesn't buy Classified figures? Because that thread is full of people who have been bitching about the guns and wanting realistic ones instead. Seems like it's a sentiment shared by alarge enough quanity of people that Hasbro changed their stance and started closely modeling their guns to realistic ones and changing the uniforms too.
>So little demand Yes, hence the little armory guns being buttfucking expensive, because there's not a lot of people buying them. $20 for a single ACCESSORY that aren't even built is pretty damn expensive.
MGR's line was a failed kickstarter and what MGR eventually released was less than half of what they normally make and less than what the kickstarter was advertising.
Even with on demand 3d printing, there's very few people who make 1:12 weapons vs the dozens of 1:18 makers.
>they're just not particularly vocalOr as many buyers? Because the line has a trickle of figures being released now.
>I think they're too busy enjoying their toys to spend ages posting about it online. It's the opposite, because it seems /toy/ is full of people who only care about their toys as long as there's new stuff to buy. We had a shitload of posters who routinely posted GI Joe action scenes back in the day and even the 1:18 General still has more posts about their toys than we get in the GI Joe General. Even the modern GI Joe General had way more posts when the line was getting full waves.
