>>10149252I was going to say the X-Shot Reflex but, if he's already got a functionally identical blaster, the Dread/Xcess offers something slightly different. It's still a 6-shot revolver but that orange ring under the trigger allows you to switch to a second cylinder for a quick reload. It also comes in various non-Sonic flavours. It's a shame that the Nerf Raptor Slash has that exact aiming issue you're describing because that would be an easy recommendation to kids otherwise.
