>>8815635I'm using ikea Dioders, the RGB kind. Not sure how other people have handled the cables for those, but I ended up cutting the short daisy chain connectors and the long cables and splicing them so there are only two cables going back to the hub. On my newer shelves, I've used the white-only Dioders, And I found I like the light they put out much better then the RGB ones when you try to set them to white, so I wouldn't recommend the RGB ones unless you really want the color changing option. They're more expensive and the white light they put out is kind of ugly (It's either pinkish or yellowish, it's almost impossible to get a solid white).
