However for normal people they can process senses normally for the most part, and don't need as much deep pressure input and stimulation. But this brings me to the most important thing to understand why fidget spinners are so popular. They're literally the equivalent to chewing gum. Chewing gum is used to give your body stimulation in the say way as fidget spinners. That is why it's common for people on the autism spectrum to have oral fixations. One of the smaller specific signs of autism in early childhood is kids chewing on the collar of their shirt. They tend to chew their fingers and fingernails. It's a form of stimming.
Generally human beings are not designed to sit for an extended period of time. We were monkeys who used to have to exercise and hunt. Not sit at a desk all day. We don't get much stimulation and deep pressure input that we would normally get from day to day monkey business, so we need to get it somewhere.
Look how much regular people chew gum. It's a goddamn, common thing you buy in the stores.
Also autism has to be genetic mutation and people keep breeding carelessly and it's probably increasing a lot due to that too so...we're fucked
