Still, I really appreciate the cleverness of NA's transformation scheme. Everyone loved the tail fins, but personally I think the way the chest panels form the fuselage is even cooler, even if the clear plastic version kind of spoils the trick on this version. A seeker with a clean back is impressive as hell too.
There's a world of difference between the jet modes though. Magic Square gets the job done but it's got that usual seeker hokeyness, you know a few gaps, the intakes being the landing gear and looking weird, it's not really prone to coming apart but it definitely lacks a certain solid feel. The NA's seeker feels sleek and smooth as hell all around, it just feels way better as a plane toy. About the only thing the MS version has over the NA is that it manages to incorporate the ailerons so the wings are the proper shape in the jet mode, and it does so in a pretty clean way that doesn't leave any hinges or tabs visible in the robot mode unlike nearly every other seeker.
Also really wish MS would adopt 3mm stand port technology already. I have MS Starscream attached to the stand by his hands in this pic but it's not a great solution.
