You are going to need to thin straight metal tools to maneuver the belt out of its position and around the entire crotch piece. I used cheap ass sculpting tools my mom grabbed from the dollar store. You will need constant heat. It will stretch but you need to patiently coax it. I found it works a little easier if go under the loin cloth to start the separation. Be gentle you can tear it. You will see that the hole in the belt for the torso joint is not very large once you have it off.
Then you reverse the process to put it on the other figure that you removed the belt from.
It was scary, time consuming, not a damn bit of fun, and I would never do it again. But I am glad that I did the end result looks awesome.
I wish I had documented the process to share but I did it out of impulse t the spur of the moment. Although he-bro did a custom greyskull video that while not exactly this version did show a bit about the removal process. He used a hot plate and a beaker of water to do his though.
