The neck actually isn't *as* bad as the perspective makes it look in that image, but it's still pretty bad. About 20-25° of movement to the left and right. He can look almost straight down and glare menacingly over his chestplate, so he's got that going for him in the neck department, I guess.
I have tried with neither faceplate installed, the joint itself can 360, it's literally just that the chin catches on some details buried deep in his collar area.
