I was thinking about that post mentioning a redone G2 Manta Ray using thee engineering of the CW Hot Spot mold, I think it can actually work.
The transformation scheme would work well enough that Manta Ray's yellow feet would still end up in the same place, and the torso mode could work as a convincing enough boat.
People would probably complain that the combiner torso, and boat transformations would only need to move a few parts, but Silverbolt was already like that.
