Otherwise, yeah RE is a good choice if they have Capcom licensing. I'm a Capcomfag so I'd be pretty pleased to see them dip into that; the Marvel picks are also largely MvC nostalgia so it strikes me as within the realm of possibility.
Another thing they could do is just release the occasional accessory pack for guns, as well as melee weapons and effect parts. Depending on the pricing it could be pretty easy to build up a sizable arsenal for your AY's, and since it wouldn't be tied to any official IP they'd circumvent the ban.
