The left vambrace has the hinges on the back while the right vambrace has the hinges on the front which means they'd open and close in opposite directions. It's a flaw which they copied from the A21 suit in the Wallace Collection. The A21 suit isn't homogenous; it's a composite armor assembled from parts of different suits and 19th century replacements. It originally came from the armor collection of Castle Hohenaschau which was riddled with pieces of dubious origin. It used to have a right vambrace & couter from a jousting armor which were replaced later with a copy of the left couter and a more fitting vambrace.
