/toy/ gunpla/plamo general was created to escape the faggotry and elitism of the /m/ gunpla general. most of the posters from the start were basically snapfags who wants to enjoy discussing gunpla, upcoming releases and basically recommended watch and want to escape the faggy elitism and painting spoons of /m/
occasional discussion of other scale model kits comes up and tolerated but most of the time gunpla and mech model kits are the only discussed here.
and if there were some people who were looking for advice on how to make their kit better, how to paint, what paints to use, and other shit like that, they were politely told to go to the /m/ gunpla general and take advice there because of most of the posters in this thread are not experts in that area.
