>>8001848Not to be contrarian, but I find these figures to be exactly the opposite of what you described. While simple, and lacking in some areas, I find their articulation to be fantastic without being too fiddly and can get them in a variety of fun poses. The legs especially allow for all sorts of sitting, riding and even crossed leg poses (their arms are severely limited though).
I also feel these guys are so chunky and solid that it would take a large effort to break them. Though paint chipping is an issue, it's not one I'm personally put off by (I consider it in universe wear and tear). But their joints and builds specifically, with a few QC exceptions, are strong enough for even rough play. I've had guys nose dive off high shelves only to make a bigger dent in the table they hit on the way down then in their actual armor. Hell, one time I saw Malleus take a front flip off my shelf and land flat on his feet, it was most impressive.
>>8001951I indeed was referring to Owain, but it seems someone beat me to the response lol.
During the original KS, Owain was my initial pledge, but I dropped it down to a basic Silver knight when the budget started to run away from me. While the Silver knights are nice, Owain just has that touch of detail that make him much more interesting, and I gotta admit that his bio of being a jolly swordsmith kind of made him endearing. While there's lots of other figures I kinda regret passing up, he's my biggest one because he has the lowest chance of getting a re-release.
If the deal with the other anon falls through, hit me up cause I'd gladly take a slightly used Owain. From my experience their skirts eventually go back to their original shape in time so it's not an issue for me.
Pic related is the Knight that should have been Owain.
