Ditch the comics, sorry but who cares about comics, and instead include some landscape board, some cards and a dice. Maybe the boards connect into a larger field the more you get. You need at least two to play I guess. The buildings can be the objective, protect or destroy. You can sort of forgive the figures for being basic in this case.
