>>7610252>>7610203Well Greg did say that if the Makuta in Karda Nui had fought at full power the Toa Nuva would've been dead under 30 seconds. The story team basically worked themselves into a trap with those 42 powers.
Kraata (and Krana for that matter) only got powers because it gave fans a reason to buy collectable packs, but it's true they never got much of a story purpose. Teridax might've been fine with 42 powers if he had stayed as the sole Makuta, but as it's been stated many times already a whole species with those powers is ridiculous.
My ideal scenario would be that each Makuta has
>element power of Shadow (which doesn't make much sense, but it is what it is)>Shapeshifting/mass absorbtion abilities (less of a power and more of a consequence of their biology)>Telepathy>3-5 Kraata powers
