At first when the DCSH franchise was solely handled by Mattel meaning having shitty web cartoon and boringass sameface Barbie-like characters, then the dolls had better articulation and clothes because they could reuse the same mold (both face and body) . But now that WB handed the franchise to Faust to create full on TV show, that means the characters have distinctive looks which demands actual effort by Mattel and more budget for new molds.
