>>8510155I don't have any modern McFigure, so I may be completely wrong, but my impression when reading those discussions with all the sidea and arguments is that he always takes one joint that has a decent range in a specific direction and he showcases it while pretending that it is representative of the practical poseability of the figure, and then he never posts any actual good overall pose, or at least I have never seen any.
This can be done with many figures. For example, take a look at this SOTA Toys Cammy pic I've just taken. Wow, such amazing poseability!
