No matter how good it is, real cloth on toys looks like movie designs. You have to see the toy in person to actually get an accurate view of the clothes too, as most photos allow you to see detail that you normally can't see without being 6 inches away from the toy.
Also, you have to understand that real cloth is very fiddly. It can stick out and look weird if you don't push and pull almost all parts to look "ok." So any time you change the pose,you have to fiddle around to make it look good.
That said, sculpted cloth works best. Stiff plastic capes too. Real cloth is shit, but not really, compared to sculpted plastic. I still love my mezcos and other real cloth figures. Even found this 1:18 figure to have some of the best cloth ive seen on a toy under 6".
