>>5456008I do this too. Every once in a while I trim my collection down when I'm planning on getting new things. Lots of the things I'm not interested in anymore I end up getting rid of. Also, this is a big one throughout the last year, I've been trying to make my collection less eclectic. Before I had toys of everything I liked and it was all random and not matching in any media form or figure size. It was a cluttered mess and I never got rid of things. Now I really only collect Lego, Glyos, and 3.75" Marvel figures. I have a few other line figures still, but most of them have gone to the local collectibles store to help me build up the figure sets I'm most passionate about. I DO have single (lonely) figures that I won't get rid of though. I got a 3A zombie in a yellow hazmat suit and I fucking love it, won't get rid of it even though I probably won't get any more expensive ass 3A stuff. Also have a NECA Planet of The Apes classics gorilla soldier because I love those films to death, and I haven't got around to collecting any more of them (probably won't.) I'll only ever have so much display space, and Glyos and Legos are my building toys that I actually "use", so for display collections I have to be choosy. Otherwise shit just sits in a closet out of sight for years, and at that point why even have it?
