>>6901689Wei Jiang is kind of the first of a new breed of company. Before they came along most KOs were of cheaper quality, made for a quick dirty buck. Wei Jiang actually uses the official release as a foundation to build and improve upon which blew everyone away when they showed off their Evasion Mode Optimus that I think was their first big release in this line.
The thing about 3p is that they cater more to the collector than the consumer and tend to be more expensive. You have a lot of companies that fill in the "holes" in the official Masterpiece Line while others focus on stuff like IDW designs or even their own stuff.
Like here's an IDW style Overlord holding a Legends scale Overlord, both produced by different 3p companies and both catering to specific tastes. The same company that put out that Legends Overlord just did a whole team of Combaticons at the same scale and it's widely regarded as one of the best versions of Bruticus to date.
