I finally completed a display case for this diorama, I've had this thing finished for I think over a year now. It was a pain in the ass, I routed out nearly the whole interior of a 5.5" oak board, and then glued the ends onto it so that it sits relatively recessed into the display. Still tough as hell to get the plexiglass to come out right, getting it cut to fit perfect is difficult, and gluing it together is a mess. I tried using syringes to apply it but it's very thin and runs all over the place when you're applying very easily.
