This really surprises me. Transformers has been going on so long I just assumed Galvatron was reconjured back into Megatron at some point. It's been over 20 years.
But you're saying, by and large, no. He's just redesigned in a reboot or two and the whole Galvatron thing is never resolved in the continuity it came up in (until a recent web-series; is that canon?)
Like, they were making Megatron toys. I assumed they'd undone the whole Galvatron thing to do that.
desu the whole continuities things is really fucking hard to keep tarck of. I lost all grasp after beast wars, and trying to get back into this series after a two decade hiatus -- it looks to need near as much reading as you'd need for writing a survey paper.
