I've seen a number of his marker/pencil commission pieces floating around conventions over the years. He loves punching up the contrast with heavy shading that blends seamlessly into the lines, but when it comes time to be colored that just tends to make the pieces look too dark. I've never liked his finalized comic pages but I feel like that's the result of coloring the work of someone who's firmly a B/W artist.
