>>5993799>>5993851It's important to note that there's only been one Metal Damashii released (the Hi-Nu), and that was almost two years ago (dang, can't believe it was that long ago, haha). So it's tough to give a definitive verdict on the line when there's so few releases to judge.
As anon said, the Metal Hi-Nu was basically the regular RD with added metal parts and paint/tampo detail, but it was nearly twice the MSRP at around 10,000JPY. I know there were a couple anons who bought it and as far as I can recall they were happy with it, no complaints that I recall, but there really wasn't very much discussion about it as most folks went for the standard RD Hi-Nu (which is what I did, hehe).
The second Metal Damashii is going to be Ex-S, releasing Nov. 19th. There will not be a standard RD Ex-S, so this is going to be the first real test of the Metal Damashii line on its own. It's looking pretty dang awesome though, and preorders are all sold out.
