Was immediately obsessing over how the sarcophagus was looking cheap in pictures posted so here's the result of moving lamps around a couple times. It feels like you just need to get the right lighting on it as the detailing only shows up through proper shadowing. His death mask on mine unfortunately has some kind of nudge on the cheek right out of the box. Paintwork is not as immaculate as the prototype pictures but that didn't make me enjoy it any less.
I like it. It's shiny and gold, and even more shiny and gold in person. It's really easy to get lost in the detailing of the sarcophagus and inscriptions when looking at it in-hand. I also like the mummy figure too, can only think of using it for scooby doo reenactments.
