I buy what I like, undeterred by fandom. If I need to make changes like swapping a part to cutting something off, then I'll do that. I value a toy based on how well it's built, and if it can pose adequately. I'm also building a world for myself, fueled by imagination based on the characters I bring into it. And play in said world helps me realize its further value
