I've got a question and I can't imagine that it's never come up in a past Gunpla thread-
Has anyone here ever scratch built a maintenance factory diorama to go with your mechas? I'd like to build something 1/48th scale, and other than using lots of styrene sheets & foam core, (which would probably the bulk of it) I'm looking for some detailing ideas for factory catwalks, cranes, model chain, bay doors and such.
I saw this and it gave me some inspiration:
