>>9153571>>9153574To each his own, I think it looks terrible and it was always a common complaint among people (likewise with Charizard of the same toyline). Makes it more robotic-looking than natural, which means Metal Cooler could absolutely utilize it.
>If your concerned about looks it should have just been swivels and the sculpt doesnt have to be broken up.How they did it helps with the upwards/downwards articulation, a swivel would hinder it too much. Not a ballpeg but they've done it like pic related, which looks fine to me.
It's not perfect, but it's difficult to get articulated (smooth) tails without breaking up the sculpt a lot. Alternatively there's the whole bendy wire thing but I don't trust the longevity on that.
