>>8272816>People also want to army build themat nearly 3 feet tall though?
FUUUUCK that. This is why i wanted a 1:18 scale... and why i generally buy 1:18, because 1:12 is way too big to have any sort of army building.
This is why most people who do army build that shit only have like 3 sentinels at the most.
Shit, there are people who army build in 1:18 who spend more money on a single army builder than most people spent on their entire 1:12 figure collection. Even then, the collection takes up far less space than those 1:12 collections. You don't see this level of insanity with 1:12 collectors.
>All they're doing is reducing the number people will buy, and the amount of more casual buyers who might biteYou're entirely missing the point and the fact of the matter that Hasbro designed this figure based on fans wants. IT's why Hasbro's Kickstarter exists: to directly sell to fans and make the cost prohibitive toys. /toy/ itself has had countless threads and posts dreaming about Hasbro making a true to scale Sentinel for over a decade now.
It's not a real business decision, but a marketing one. It's the same shit with the SDCC exclusives.
Again, you're just coming from the poorfag perspective. Hell, i didn't even buy any of Hasbro's Sentinels because of how cheap they are compared to Toy Biz's, but this one is impressive and not just because of its size, which i still think is a detriment.
If they did what you're saying, i'd skip out again.
