She snd I have an absolutely terrible relationship, and it always baffles me when I see a guy spending time with his mom and actual enjoying it. Like, is that really possible? My mom is the most judgemental, manipulative, negative, condescending person you will ever meet, so i avoid spending time alone with her at all costs. She also has untreated adult ADHD, so she's physically incapable of doing anything that doesn't interest her.
Seeing a guy shopping for toys with his mom is pretty wholesome. I can't even imagine doing that with my mom. Is that normal? Do most moms not care if their sons have hobbies like this?
