>>7232532>which is useless for getting natural poses.Such retarded hyperbolism.
Most humans don't do a lot of side to side motion and upper torso joint is enough for 99% of what humans do.
>the best range of motion can be achieved by Revoltech-style joints (a hinge with a swivel at each connecting point), but they're more expensive and require more engineering to implement if you need to hide the joint.LOL, you're retarded, especially when someone says shit like this
>Hasbro style ab crunches look hideously uglypic of how Yamaguchi doesn't try at all to hide how disjointed his figures are and needs to use camera angles to hide that ugliness, and their poses still aren't even human-like.
And there's nothing retarded for pointing out that a male action having wider hips than his torso is really feminine and doesn't look natural, especially for manly superheroes featuring exaggerated male features.
Even on bigger figures like Figuarts Thanos, the hips being wider looks feminine because of the bottom joint... which doesn't even offer a lot of range either, making it almost useless, unlike Hasbro's hinge. With armored and bulky figures, that hinge is probably the optimal way in getting the best range, unless you want to create giant gaps like Yamaguchi's disjointed ugly crap.
Ball joint AND hinge? Best combo.
