A droid talking about it's rights in the movie and it being used in the form of modern commentary has little baring on the movie. There's no obvious BLM moment or women's rights moment etc. All L3 says is "equal rights", one line that irked some redditor who whined about women in his Star Wars and then she's dead like shortly after that.
