I have enjoyed the Metal Cardbot line so far, but I've only bought the ones I like and not the entire series. The eyes on the cars bothered me at first, but given time you get used to them, if you watch the show they normalize even faster. I don't own any current Transformers so I really can't make a comparison, but they have all been of good quality in my opinion and I like them a lot.
