The Super Megaforce line gave Bandai the tooling to do additional Rangers from every season cheaply, yet not one of those packs contained a new Ranger figure. We got Poisandra through fan demand, and Madame Odius and Spinferno ended up being exclusives to those packs due to their single carded releases never seeing the light of day, but otherwise there was nothing of value in them. Poisandra could have easily included a Dino Armor X Red Ranger which would have been a complete kitbash requiring no new parts, but they included the laziest possible figure with her, just the standard Red Ranger everyone already had. "You'll buy it anyway to get Poisandra, so fuck you."
They could have done Zhane (who was skipped for no good reason in the Super Megaforce line) with just a new head and weapon, but instead they re-released Robo Knight for the third time, and they had the audacity to pack him with an out of scale Loogie (unsurprisingly those sets rotted). They could have given us the Lauren figure they screwed us out of with a few new parts, but they just re-released Jayden for the third (and not last) time, which proved to be another peg warmer. Sorry for the rant but I'm still angry about it all.
