>>10075599ultimately that is what irks me most with companies like super7 and funko. their focus on boutique adult collectibles rather than fun cheap toys everyone can enjoy. I genuinely think funko's reaction line would have had a chance at retail of they didnt focus on such a random medley of intellectual properties.
Back on monster toys for the time being, something I've wanted to see for years is a chap mei/ lanard/adventure force toyline of budget monster figures. It wouldnt even have to be strictly 5 POA or anything, just something in the style of those animal planet/adventure force gift sets. honestly if they were totally unlicensed and based wholesale off original depictions of the classic monsters I'd be even happier. I can only buy the universal monsters so many time. Given their number of random soldier and explorer figures too, you could easily pack in "victims" for the monsters to fuck up.
