I tried to remove the wheels on an older models from around the 80s or 90s since they were very rusted anyway, they did pop off, but so did a lot of small parts on the truck as well... While the car would never have moved on a track again due to all the rust...I don't feel like it was a success... Oh well... I guess Ill try to put together a märklin track by scouring the used market for any parts to run these cars and then try to find lima versions for my main track...
