The problem is not with Toy Makers but with sculptors.
In art female face is way harder to make a male face.
You can fuck up male face and it swill will look cool and acceptable but do few mistakes on female face and it will look ugly.
Same thing in real life, honestly. It's so easy for a female to become ugly looking. While if male goes old or gets damage on his face or anything like that - it wont affect his appeal that much or even do it a favor.
