Hasbro are only just starting to make good sculpts on their actual released figures. The Japanese have been doing it for years. It doesn't matter how good the sculpting is on the prototype if your cheap-arse figure looks like shit.
McFarlane's face sculpts are so bad people are replacing them with heads from Japanese statues.
