Well, this has more things to glue than I expected, but it's not as bad as the Panzer IV Ausf. H, the schürzen and related armature was a bit of a pain. I need to get some decent glue for it before I start.
Some things I noticed for those who care:
-The packaging is way better than on the previous tanks. The cardboard inserts are more sturdy and they learnt from their previous mistake and protected the machinegun (I read about someone recieving the Ausf. H with a broken one and the same happened to me).
-Machinegun balljoint has the perfect tighness, it's not floppy like on the previous tank (the Ausf D. one was good too).
-There seems to be a bit more attention to detail, but maybe that's just me. Nonetheless part of the reason there's several things to glue is the added detail inside each hatch.
-The ends where the loop of each thread closes are actually designed for that purpose by having half the thickness and keeping the shape of the thread instead of just being random points of the thread and just riveting them together, so it doesn't feel somewhat halfassed anymore. The thread flexibility is better too.
>>10397945>>10397966I think I'm going to place it on top of a wood bookshelf as there's no other place it fits (luckily enough those shelves have the perfect width, just an inch less would have been a problem). But I need to move the things there somewhere else.
>>10398132>Ikea detolf of courseOh you.
>>10398219>Absolutely based, are you going to paint it?My answer is the same as when I got the Panzer IV and someone asked me that here, I know that even just a matte topcoat would work wonders but I'm going to leave it as is because the bare plastic is easier to dust and also I can handle it without fear of scratching it or risking paint transfer with the figmas. The plastic sheen doesn't bother me so I'll just rather have something I can handle with ease, but I still find your custom paintjob really nice every single time you post it..
