Haven't played with Beyblade since they were first brought to the US and now I've felt compelled to buy some idk if it's because I'm nostalgic, the male brain is just naturally drawn to things that spin and violently crash into each other, I'm autistic, or all of the above, but I guess my question is where do I start? Should I be looking into the older models or get into this newer X generation? I've also seen people differentiating between the Tomy and Hasbro kind so IDK what are the "cooler" or more sturdy kind. Maybe I'm just misremembering but I always felt like some of the beyblades I'd see as a kid were really bulky and dangerous looking which made me like them but maybe these were just bootlegs or something.
