>>8148913Did the same. I really liked those designs and hated to see them wasted as Noble Kanohi. So I just headcanon the Av/Kra Matoran masks as different masks. Except Gavla's, I guess, that can't be anything other than an Avsa. But the other five work as other canon/fanon masks just fine.
This MOC uses Tanma's "Miru" for Gaaki, which I don't necessarily agree with, but is a sound idea. And I've seen the same Tanma mask used as an alternative design for the Adaptive Kaukau. The front grids do give it an aquatic look overall.
