>>6937192>In the end we just didn’t feel like it was the right thing to do to overcharge for a 4” figure when we could give a fair price for a 6” figure.Well, they're doing something wrong, considering Acid Rain figures are less than $30 and come with a lot of cool shit with a shit load of articulation and paint.
Boss Fight figures come with a bunch of accessories too, including alt heads, hands, and armor and they're like $25.
Seems like 4H literally meant to rip you off, especially with how limited their articulation is.
Anyway, Hasbro does show how their prices actually compare when handled by the same company and using similar techniques. They never went overboard with paint like any of these lines do, which kept costs down.
> No shit. So size doesn't matter, just how you make the toy does. Way not to understand.
More pieces = more molded pieces.
A large inarticulated thing doesn't need as many molds because its made of fewer parts vs a smaller thing with more articulation requires more parts.
All things being equal, with two toys with equal amount of articulation but in different scales, the larger figure will require more molds because the large pieces won't fit in as many molds as something smaller can fit into each mold.
All the 1:18 lines clearly prove how much cheaper costs can be than larger lines, despite whatever 4H claimed... or rather, told the truth about.
