>>7087673>Where the hell are you getting this weird idea about value? What's so weird about taking into account the cost of production and total goods included with the figure?
Clothing is more costly to manufacture and assemble than an all plastic figure. It's an extra, more complicated step. Whether you like it or not doesn't mean that there is no value to it.
And it doesn't wear out, at least not yet. I've had their DKR Batman since it was released and i have no problems with it. No problems with my Punishers, Deadpools, SpiderMan, Judge Dredd, Superman, etc etc etc. They're seemingly no more likely to wear out than my 3a figures, which i've owned even longer.
Mezco is known for their quality, as my sister has had their Living Dead Dolls over a decade now and been through a couple of moves without any problems.
And the Mafex and Revoltech figures don't have as much value. They're all plastic and various companies have shown that they shouldn't cost as much as they do, even with modern lines like from DCC. Their cost is only as high as it is because of their smaller market.
As i said, I have no problem with buying Mafex's Gwen because it looks great, but I'm not going to pretend that I'm getting my money's worth from it.
>>7087719Mattel crap is never worth their price. Limited articulation, limited paint, and cheapass reuse of inappropriate bodies. That's a prototype, but the production figures always look cheapo as fuck like Bandai kiddy toys.
I have no problem with the techno-gridding on the costume
