I was right. These work great as additional villains for the DC line.
Also, the DC line is a mixed bag. On one hand, they hold their accessories way better for the most part(I can't get Joker's axe into his hand, I'll have to try heating it with a hair dryer) but they fucked up on the legs. The sockets for the little hip balls to go into are too tight/small. I needed to heat them up a lot to get them moving and even then it still feels like I may break them.
