>>8543543>What T-34's and T-34 variants should I have?Here's my own IMHO:
1. "Classic" T-34-85. Like the ones in every war film. New Zvezda one (3687) is perfect for its cost/quality and lots of available aftermarket. Beware the old Zvezda 34-85 (№3533) which is shit from the 90s. There are Dragon version which is better (marginally) but really expensive.
2. Early T-34-76 (1940-1941). Narrow "Pierozhok" turret, square transmission hatch. Dragon one is my dream kit, still hesitant to buy it. (There are rumours that Zvezda MAY finish their T-34 remake run with early one).
3. T-34-76 with "Gadget" turret (aka "Mod 1943" in the West). With or without commander's cupola - doesn't matter for me. No idea about the options, Zvezda has a new one released (№3686) (our rivet-counters called it shit and unrealistic, but that's what they usually do to all new releases) and Dragon sure as hell has one. Again, watch out for old model which is utter nightmare.
There is also stamped turret T-34 (Again, Zvezda has just nice kit - I've seen the sprues in the store) aka "Formochka" turret but I HATE this version and it looks ugly as fuck to me.
That's all folks. I'm more interested in SPGs (Have Su-100, can buy Su-85 or Su-122).
>>8543567>my one and only experience with them is that it was a flash nightmare with horrible detail. What model was it? Their older models are shit, period. Pretty much anything post-2014 is of decent and constantly improving quality, the older ones - just no.
And yes, I've started it but it is on halt because I'm a lazy ass who lacks concentration. Very pleased with it. Also have completed their Su-100 (same "new generation" and ISU-152 from older threads - and this abomination of old Zvezda was awful).
