So you're completely unreliable to contradict what DCC uses, especially considering how thin the plastic can be at the joints. There's no way they used acrylic, because that shit would have broken so fast and my nephews would have broken my pre2015 DCC collection of 20+ figures.
I've seen the videos of people breaking their pre-2015 DCC figures and almost all of them hamhanded it by twisting fast. That sort of strong torque could break even Hasbro's god tier plastic from back then if paint were to have stuck the joint.
