There's a reason that when 8e released, they made them functionally worthless on the tabletop and gave Primaris all the stuff we were begging for, 2 wounds, higher armour, etc. Anything that isn't a kit they're actively making/pushing right this second is harmful to the brand.
Like yes the majority of people around before things like 40k 8e and End Times stopped buying their shit but it's such a violently untapped market that it only makes sense that they refuse to acknowledge anything from before 2018 out of some insanely misguided marketing bullshit like they've always done.
