>>8937374I'm this guy. Decided to go ahead and order some things to attempt to make a Ridley. Just waiting for someone to get back to me about buying some 3d printed Ridley heads. I know I'm going to need some paints, but what else should I get? Figure an exacto knife, maybe some kinda glue, a small handheld mini drill?
I may have never fiddled with models or painting but I figure painting it won't be so bad, but what kind of paints? Would it need a finish? If I get a 3d printed head what's best to do for painting that? Another thing I'm concerned about is the joints. Like how would I go about attaching the joints in the wings from the one figure to the back of the Xenomorph properly? The head should be able to utilize the joint in the figure itself if it has a big enough hole in it I figure.
If I'm asking too much, my apologies. If you could point me somewhere to get answers to my questions I'd appreciate it. Had this idea kicking around in my head for a while and since I've been bored and down lately I decided to give it a shot.
