I've seen these mentioned here in the past, so I randomly decided to grab a few and give them a try - they're the Zuru 5 Surprise Dino Strike toys. I grabbed three - two of the Color Change ones and one Volcano one, and I like them quite a bit. The volcano Stegosaurus comes with a little capture helmet reminiscent of the old Kenner Jurassic Park toys, while the Attack Rex and Rage Raptor come decked out in armor (with spring-loaded, firing missiles!) that feels very Dino-Riders inspired. The dinos themselves have basic articulation, but also all have a gear-driven gimmick that activates by moving their tails from side-to-side; Rage Raptor's hands move up and down to 'slash', Attack Rex's jaws open and close, and the Stegosaurus' head wags from side-to-side (though I find it better if you instead do it in reverse and use the head to make the tail move so it can swing its Thagomizer around).
Gotta say, while I love all three and the armor and guns on the theropods here are pretty cool, the Stegosaurus is probably my favorite - that clear orange and yellow 'molten lava' look is pretty rad, while the color changing gimmick on the other two is hardly noticeable (it's relegated to the colored stripes on their bodies and is activated by heat, as seen on the T. Rex here - Attack Rex's colors go from green to blue, and Rage Raptor's go from blue to purple).
They're simple, inexpensive toys, but they're pretty fun and have some good sculpts going on, so I'm satisfied with them; I think I might end up getting some more, both from the Volcano line (there's an Amargasaurus that I really want, as well as some vehicles that look neat) and maybe one or two from the Glow in the Dark line.
