I think this is just another one of his goddamn weird artistic larks. Mr. Dollshe is always trying odd new directions. Though this one is odder than usual bc the whole thing gives off the impression he isn't personally interested in or familiar with the anime-doll aesthetic and is just trying to ape what he thinks it's supposed to look like.
